If you’re feeling under the weather, run-down or in need of a boost then a walk in our beautiful Australian rainforest is the perfect cure-all. If you haven’t got the time or opportunity to bathe in nature for the afternoon, try bringing the bush to your brew with our 100% Australian-grown tea blend featuring some traditional native favourites.
Here in Tropical North Queensland we are blessed to find the Daintree rainforest on our doorstep. At over 150 million years old, the Daintree is the world’s oldest rainforest and is extraordinarily unique in it’s biodiversity and eco-system. With an abundance of flora and fauna thriving in this region, it is also extra special as it is one of the few known places where the rainforest meets the reef. The Daintree was the main inspiration for this blend, so put the kettle on, brew some fresh Australian-grown leaves, close your eyes and imagine a stroll through this incredible rainforest retreat.
Australian-grown herbal tea blend containing:
Eucalyptus – This quintessentially Australian leaf is the perfect addition to tea, and has been widely used for its medicinal properties. Well known for it’s use against coughs and colds, gum leaves are great at clearing the head and sinuses. High in antioxidants, these Victorian-grown Eucalyptus leaves have also been shown to be anti-inflammatory and stress-relieving.
Kunzea – also known as ‘White Cloud’ due to it’s heady white flowers, this extraordinary native Australian plant has been used for thousands of years as an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. With a light, lemony taste it is the perfect addition to tea. We use kunzea wild-harvested in north-west Tasmania.
Echinacea – Organically grown on a small family farm in northern Tasmania, Echinacea is well respected as the immune-boosting protector herb.
Lemon Myrtle – One of our absolute favourite teas to work with, the scent and flavour of Lemon Myrtle is like no other. Uplifting, fresh and citrusy notes enhance the other herbs in this brew. As well as the taste, Lemon Myrtle is known for it’s healing properties being used traditionally for a sore throat, stress and fatigue. Grown in Northern NSW.
Emu Bush – This native herb from South Australia has been used for generations as a natural remedy for colds and flus. With a unique, sharp flavour this bush tea is the perfect finish to bring out the citrus in this blend.
